The future needs design. Technical innovation makes a significant contribution to this because it enables new applications and products and thus progress. The VDMA Electromobility Forum, E-MOTIVE, lives this idea with its network of industry and science and, together with the participating research associations of the VDMA, sees itself as an active innovation and knowledge network for drive research and electromobility. The Forum brings together renowned partners along the entire industrial value chain with the best minds from research. More than 3,000 committed companies and more than 200 research centres nationwide stand for this successful model.
At the FVA Information Conference on December 4 and 5, 2019 in Würzburg, Dipl.-Ing. Björn Prase from the Institute of Design and Drive Technology (IKAT) at Chemnitz University of Technology was awarded the 20th Hans Winter Prize of the Drive Technology Research Association (Forschungsvereinigung Antriebstechnik e.V.). (FVA) for the first time.
The E-MOTIVE Board comprises decision-makers from the industry and pools expert knowledge from the different sectors relevant to electromobility, including the automotive industry, electrical engineering, mobile machines and suppliers.
