The FVA opens up to further future topics
Based on the findings of the FVA project "Technology Trend Radar" there will be a sideshow on "Micromobility" at the upcoming FVA Information Conference in Würzburg.
FVA Information Conference - The Network Meeting
Save the Date: December 04 / 05, 2019 - The FVA Information Conference is the highlight of the FVA year and represents the network meeting of the drive technology industry. The more than 600 participants come from industry, research and science.
In Schweinfurt, automobile manufacturers and suppliers are joining forces with research and science to find new ways of working together
11th E-MOTIVE Expert Forum - cooperative competition for the best solutions for the powertrain of the future
Drive in change - the best solutions emerge in competition
The change in mobility can no longer be halted. The variety of requirements in the respective markets also requires a variety of available technologies. Hybridization and electrification are gaining momentum, as is the development of decarbonized synthetic fuels known as eFuels. Tomorrow's mobility is based on mechanical engineering - and requires open technology.
X MOTIVE - Produce Future Mobility
Electric mobility, fuel cells, Power2X - The change in mobility is complex and in the future there will not only be one type of drive on the market. This presents the entire industry with new challenges. The transformation process must be actively accompanied. In order to meet the current challenges, the VDMA would like to support its members.

Battery development plays a central role in the success of electric mobility. Hartmut Rauen, Deputy Managing Director of VDMA, demands the production of battery cells in Europe.
The most important finding of the study is: "For mechanical engineering, the mobility transformation process offers opportunities for additional value creation," explained VDMA President Carl Martin Welcker on the occasion of the publication of core results of the study.
